Course Summary
There is a reason the practice of cosmetology is regulated. That reason is public health. The main purpose of regulating the industry is not to protect the public from a bad haircut, facial, or manicure. The purpose is to protect the public from significant and discernible danger to health.
As a professional cosmetologist, barber, nail technician, or esthetician, you are required to complete an infection control and safety course. This course is designed to provide you with the information and skills you need to protect yourself and your clients from disease transmission and injury.
